Tami has worked in the field of education and early intervention for over 30 years. After graduating with a masters degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in special education she taught in the classroom before starting a career in early intervention. She continued her education at Ball State University earning an advanced degree in applied behavior analysis. She spent 20 years as a Developmental Therapist for Indiana’s early intervention program before returning home to North Carolina to open up Red Wagon Children’s Therapy. She uses developmental play and coaching during therapy sessions. She is passionate about creating a positive learning experience for the whole family.
In her free time Tami enjoys spending time with her family, visiting her adult daughters, cooking, reading and traveling.❤️

Lisa Holtz
ITFS, DT, MS

I hold a bachelor’s degree in child development and a master’s degree in special
education, along with a Post-Graduate Certificate in Early Intervention from Kent State
University in Kent, Ohio. I have approximately six years of experience working in Early
Intervention with children ages 0–3, supporting developmental growth and helping families build
skills that promote early learning and independence. Prior to specializing in Early Intervention, I
worked with school-aged children with disabilities providing in-home care and Applied Behavior
Analysis (ABA) services beginning in 2018. My experience working with children with diverse
needs began even earlier through babysitting, working as a teaching assistant in a daycare, and
completing internships in educational settings throughout college. These opportunities allowed
me to support children with atypical and neurotypical development in home, school, and daycare
environments.
I have lived in North Carolina for almost three years and in the greater Charlotte area for
about a year and a half. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time with my family
and friends, traveling, taking my baby and dog to the park, and visiting the beach. I am married
and the proud parent of a baby boy, and our dog, Casper.❤️

Sara Hall
ITFS, DT

I am a certified teacher with over 24 years of experience in special education. I earned my degree from Dowling College in New York and I believe in the power of play as a tool for learning, communication, and emotional development. Originally from New York, I have lived in North Carolina for the past eight years with my family and am the proud parent of three children. ❤️

Conner Sutherland
BS, DT, ITFS

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services from Appalachian State University. I’m originally from Raleigh and recently relocated to Mooresville. Prior to graduating, I was a two-sport collegiate athlete, which helped shape my sense of teamwork, resilience, and commitment to others.
Since graduating, I’ve spent three years in the classroom and two years in the field of behavior analysis, working closely with children and families. Teaching, service, and coaching are at the heart of who I am, and these values guide the way I connect with and support children through play therapy. I’m passionate about creating a space where both families and children feel understood, supported, & confident as they grow. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new places, playing card games with my fiancée, and practicing yoga.

Queen Hughes
ITFS, DT , MS

Known for her warm, relationship‑driven approach, Queen partners closely with families to create meaningful progress in natural environments—homes, childcare settings, and community spaces. Her work reflects a deep commitment to excellence, compassion, and helping children thrive during their most critical years of growth.

Kate
BS, MS, ITFS

Hello! My name is Kate and I have been in childcare/education since graduating from Bloomsburg University in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education. I went back to school and received a certificate in Special Education PK-8 in 2017. I have worked in schools, childcare centers, been a nanny to 2 families, and also worked in early intervention. My most recent job was working in the infant room for 4 years at a childcare center. I truly love the preschool age and how so much can be learned/taught through play. I also have two young boys of my own: ages 4 and 6. In my free time I enjoy running/yoga, reading, and gardening.
